SALE OF ST. JUDE FACTS: ANYTHING OTHER THAN THIS IS SOMEONE’S FANTASY: All masses will be honored for 2024 and 2025. All donations are property of the St. Jude Ministry. I am NOT retiring. Property for sale $1.5 million. The diocese will receive the proceeds of the sale. We have begun process for potential landmark status. Multiple discussions have begun with the Kevin Guest House. Additional Info - The Kevin Guest House has requested The St. Jude Center blueprints. The Roswell Park group came on Wednesday to tour the Center. Channels 4 and 7 did a news spot which you can find on the St. Jude Facebook page. Very Large and obnoxious For Sale Signs have been placed on the property. I have received many phone calls from people who have been helped by St. Jude's over the years. Two letters are included in this mailing.
FUNDRAISING: Our fund raising event hosted by Lori and Jim Caccamise starts this Sunday, July 21st. Tickets are $100 and we have 100 ticket’s to sell.
FAREWELL TO SUMMER: A fund raiser for Buffalo Seminarians will be on Thursday, September 5th at Klocs Grove from 5-9 PM.. Tickets for a family style meal is $50. 50/50 tickets available as well. Tickets are available from Fr. Richard.
SALVATION ARMY BACKPACK DRIVE: Donate backpacks and school supplies at various locations across Kaleida Health until August 8th to benefit the Salvation Army Youth Programs, children in their Emergency Family Shelter and Emergency Family Assistance Programs.
WORD OF LIFE: May married couples embrace their call to total, faithful, and fruitful love with openness to new life. “We Pray To The Lord.”
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK: Don’t try to change people. Make a realistic decision about where they fit into your life based on who they are and not who you want them to be.
WEBSITE MASS: During this intermission of face to face Mass, a weekly Mass is being offered and placed on the website. The website address is on the front page of the bulletin. Every weekend you will be able to pull up Mass whenever you choose The Sunday Mass at 8:45 AM is also being streamed as well.
